Students in Mr. Blackmore’s class played a game exploring what we can and cannot control in life. By rolling dice and drawing random life events, students earned a healthy day for positive choices or lost one for unhealthy decisions. The lesson? We can’t always control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond and the choices we make!

🎃🍂 Being Unique Is Amazing! 🍂🎃 Our kindergarten students had a spooktacular day learning that being different is what makes each of us special! 🧡 After reading Spooky the Square Pumpkin, our little learners explored the wonderful message that it’s okay to be different and that we all have something special to offer. They continued the fun with a creative, one-of-a-kind pumpkin craft and enjoyed some yummy pumpkin treats! 🎃 ✨ Learning about differences is an enriching part of growing up! ✨ Experiences like these help children develop kindness, empathy, acceptance, and an appreciation for the unique qualities that make each person who they are. By celebrating our differences, we help our students understand that we don’t all have to be the same to belong, make friends, and shine! Because in our kindergarten classroom, we’re learning that being uniquely YOU is something to celebrate! 🧡🍁 #WolverinesLead #PavingPossibilities #EveryChildIsSpecial

Some proposed projects are about improving and maintaining the existing school facilities.

• Roof replacement helps protect the building from water and weather.
• HVAC controls support reliable temperature control.
• Multipurpose room flooring provides a durable surface for a heavily used space.
• Accessible bathrooms improve access for people with disabilities.

These are examples of long-term facility projects. The district’s current approach is centered on “Taking Care of What We’ve Got.”

See the complete project list at www.ags-schools.org/page/2026-sinking-fund

Questions may be directed to Superintendent Chris Ming at mingc@ags-schools.org or (989) 876-7150.

Square maroon, gold, and cream infographic with the capital projects tree logo. Four panels explain why roof replacement, HVAC controls, multipurpose room flooring, and accessible bathrooms are on the current project list. The illustrations show a flat school roof, thermostat, resilient room flooring, and an accessible bathroom. A paid-for footer appears at the bottom.
