In 5th grade today, we had our first Book Tasting of the year! Students dug into a variety of books to explore different genres. Of course, this can be done without chef hats and stick-on mustaches, but what's the fun in that?! #WolverinesLead #PavingPossibilities

💛 Building Our Classroom Family! 💛 Mrs. Avram's kindergarten friends had a wonderful time getting to know one another during our “All About Me Bags” activity! Students had the opportunity to share special items and stories about themselves, helping us learn more about what makes each of our friends unique. 🥰 As we continue learning about what it means to be a class family, we are practicing kindness, listening, sharing, and celebrating the things we have in common and the things that make us special. 🌟 We also had a very special visitor, Bree the therapy dog! 🐾 Our students loved spending time with Bree and learning about how a therapy dog can bring comfort and joy. Throughout our lessons these past two days, we have also been practicing name recognition, cutting, and gluing skills while building confidence and independence in the classroom. ✂️🖍️💙 What a wonderful start to building our kindergarten family! We are learning, growing, and making connections together each day! 🌈
