The following goals were created by the Au Gres-Sims Board of Education following their fall retreat work session on September 29, 2023:

1. Each school board member will be accountable to their duties by remaining an engaged participant of the Board’s activities and communications.

2. Remain fiscally responsible and, when practicable, add monies to the District’s fund equity account and capital projects fund.

3. Support academic planning focused on the continuous increase of student proficiency test scores on state mandated assessments.

4. Support and cultivate a positive culture and safe and secure atmosphere conducive to student growth (academic and enrollment).

5. Continue and create summer enrichment programs that address the learning needs of all learners.

6. Engage in the creation of an orientation designed to provide training and support to new board of education members and staff members.

7. Support the development of activities and programming that enhance the experience and increase the participation of students.
